The JFS Italian Club recently brought the vibrant spirit of Carnevale to life, celebrating one of Italy’s most famous traditions! Students explored the rich history of the Carnevale di Venezia, a spectacular festival dating back to the Middle Ages. Though it was once abolished, the tradition was revived, and today, it draws nearly three million visitors to Venice each year.

At their own Carnevale, students immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere with music, mask-making, a pizzelle-making station, and delicious Italian treats provided by the Sons of Italy. From crafting their own elaborate masks to indulging in authentic Italian sweets, everyone experienced a taste of this beloved Italian tradition.

Grazie to everyone who participated and helped make this event a success!
