UEHS Amnesty International students had the incredible opportunity to attend the annual Women’s History Month Flag Raising Ceremony in downtown Binghamton. Representing UEHS, Malia Yarde, Sneha Saha, and Grace Judge stood alongside Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham, Broome County Status of Women's Council President Amanda Janicki, and Binghamton Council Member Rebecca Rathmell as they honored the impactful roles women have played in our region.
Our students not only listened to inspiring words from these leaders but were also presented with an official proclamation in recognition of the event. To top it off, they had the distinct honor of assisting the Mayor in raising the flag!
This ceremony was a powerful reminder of the contributions women have made to our community and beyond. We are so proud of our students for representing UEHS at such a meaningful event!
