First and second-grade students at AGM embraced the holiday spirit with a week full of festive learning! Both grades enjoyed holiday-themed books about the joy of the season and gingerbread adventures.
Throughout the week, students practiced reading comprehension, explored the concept of traditions in social studies, and focused on AGM's character trait of the month: kindness.
The celebration culminated in a delightful activity where students invited an adult to join them at school. Together, they read their holiday books and created edible crafts—snowmen made of marshmallows and pretzels (first grade) or gingerbread men with cookies and icing (second grade). Adding to the festive mood, everyone wore pajamas to keep things cozy and fun!
This creative and meaningful event brought learning, family, and holiday cheer together in the best way possible.
