Fifty-three students from third to fifth grades at AGM and TJW recently participated in a meaningful Student Summit to help foster dialogue between students and educators about their school experiences, needs, and perspectives. The summit provided a platform for students to voice their thoughts directly to teachers and school leaders, promoting a culture of openness and inclusivity. By focusing on amplifying voices from historically marginalized groups, the summit created a safe space for honest conversations, paving the way for impactful changes in school culture and policies that truly reflect students' diverse experiences. The outcomes often lead to actionable changes in school policies and overall school culture, ultimately enhancing the educational experience for all students.
