This week, GFJ introduced Tiger Town Halls, a new monthly event where students come together to focus on building character and community. Each month, a specific character trait is highlighted, bringing different grades together to explore and reflect on these traits in meaningful ways.
At the beginning of each town hall, students dive into the month’s character trait, helping everyone understand its importance in school and everyday life. These gatherings also serve as a great opportunity to revisit the school-wide expectations and renew their commitment to the GFJ School Promise.
Tiger Town Halls don’t just focus on learning about positive traits; they also offer a safe space for students to share experiences, discuss challenges, and brainstorm solutions. It’s a time for students to talk openly about what’s working and where they need support, fostering problem-solving and collaboration within the school community.
Staff are excited to see how these monthly Tiger Town Halls will help everyone at GFJ grow together, one character trait at a time!
