WCC PTA has been recognized as a National PTA School of Excellence in developing family-school partnerships. Krystal Hurst, our former PTA president, led this accomplishment through hours of surveys, questionnaires, etc., and conversations with AGM families.
We are very proud and will continue to provide an outstanding family-school partnership through PTA.
Family engagement and strong family-school partnerships are critical to supporting students’ success academically, socially, and emotionally and promote learning environments where students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. National PTA’s School of Excellence program provides a framework for local PTAs and schools to identify and implement best practices in family engagement to strengthen family-school partnerships and enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students.
