welcome to ue

The 2023 Smart Start Program is a three-day comprehensive approach to welcoming new staff to the district. Focusing on the district's mission, vision, values, and goals helps staff align their teaching efforts with the overall direction of the school community. Addressing core aspects like professional development, the role of the Family Support Center, and the importance of school community engagement further ensures that new staff are equipped with the resources they need for continuous growth.

Working with their mentors helps build connections that are essential for long-term growth and success. They also visited their classrooms where they began the organization and set-up process of a new classroom. The district’s emphasis on fostering a sense of belonging and community is sure to help these new staff members thrive as UE Tigers!
