Who says learning must stop after the final exam?! Celia Randesi-Temple's Italian and Spanish classes with the help of Binghamton University Italian Lecturer, Rachel Samiani, learned about Italian culture through games. Ms. Samiani came in and taught the classes how to play a traditional Italian card game called "scopa" and brought in bocce ball sets to learn how to play bocce ball.
Mr. Leombrone found a game called "buona sera signorina" and he and Mrs. Randesi-Temple taught this traditional card game to the classes as well.
Students had fun competing against each other and some Spanish students said they felt like "real Italians" playing scopa!
