Three JFS students wrote their way to year-end awards!
For the General Federation of Women's Clubs (Tri-Cities affiliation), in the central district, Aurelia De Nardis for "Dinner Drama" received first place in the short story, grades 6-8, category 3.
Bailey Worden's poem "Perfection" received first place in grades 6-8, category 3.
In addition, Bailey’s poem, “Perfection” won first place in the New York State competition. Her poem is moving on to national judging.
Aurelia’s “Dinner Drama” earned second place.
For the WSKG Student Writing Challenge Elizabeth Cachilli's "Our Autumn Night" poem won first place.
