JFS students in Ms. Elana Longo’s seventh-grade Spanish class had the opportunity to research foods from a Spanish-speaking country as a culminating project for their food unit. Each student chose a country and researched typical breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and drink items from that region. After their research, they created an original menu showcasing their chosen foods and drinks. The project was educational and enjoyable, allowing students to explore different cuisines from various Spanish-speaking countries. Additionally, it allowed some students to delve deeper into their heritage, learning new aspects or showcasing typical foods enjoyed at home. For extra credit, students could present their work. Great job, Tigers!
