It was another successful trip to our nation’s capital for JFS eighth 8th graders! Before the trip, students studied and researched the landmarks they planned to visit.
Once in DC, the students They visited The National Zoo, Arlington Cemetery, The White House, the Smithsonian Museum, Mount Vernon, and The Holocaust Museum. Before the trip, students researched a monument or memorial of their choosing, and during the 12-mile walk students explored the National Mall to visit as many monuments and memorials as they could.
At the Vietnam Wall for Veterans, students left flags in remembrance Thank you to the staff and students for a wonderful trip! The students look forward to the annual trip to DC throughout the year with fundraisers, planning, and studying.
