At AGM, students brought historical figures to life at The Living Museum.
During the social studies unit, students studied various biographical figures and discussed what can be learned from these people.
After conducting research, students chose a figure and read their biography. Students focused on their accomplishments and how the individual got there. Students focused on their struggles, how they persevered, and what challenges they encountered. Incorporating writing and speaking, students developed a short presentation where they dressed like their biographical figure, presented objects and props that represented this person, and shared facts about them with parents, staff, and other visitors to the museum.
