The U-E BOE began its meeting by recognizing students and staff for their accomplishments and successes at UEHS. Included are the girls bowling team and boys swimming relay team for qualifying for states, and the Unified Bowling team for placing second in the league in its first season. Also recognized are student ambassadors for the new student welcoming program; P&S Bulletin Student of the Week nominees; students who created the New Visions Business venture and the charitable donation of $4,000; a Food Bank initiative; Black History Month daily announcements; our social workers and their interns who coordinated the Zen Den and Technology NYS Tech Department of the Year.
