While it's a cultural club, the Italian Club also prides itself on being an important part of the school community by participating in several community service projects.

This year, the club collected sweatshirts for St. Ambrose, nonperishable food items for the St. Anthony's food pantry, and wrote Christmas cards for, and donated gifts to, ten residents at the UHS Ideal Nursing home in Endicott.

While working on service projects, the club also provides many cultural opportunities. Students traveled to NYC with the other World Language Clubs in November, they celebrated with a holiday party where they wrote Christmas cards, played games (Italian Christmas bingo called Tombola), and enjoyed holiday gathering with pizza, pasta, and delicious Italian desserts such as Sicilian cannoli, pizzelle with Nutella, torrone, and panettone.
