It’s a simple, fun, and tacky tradition at CFJ - dig out the ugliest, most hideous holiday sweater and wear it to work on December 20. And it’s a way to give to a community organization.
Any staff who wore an ugly sweater made a minimum $5 entry fee/donation. This year, $190 will be given to the Eliza Hope Foundation picked by last year’s winner Hannah Linebaugh.
In the tightest SWUGY vote in history, the winner is Halie Carden, edging out Debbie Kasson by ONE vote. As the winner, she has ownership of the Annual Swugly Award© for the year and will choose next year’s charity.
In its 11th year, this event is a wonderful example of community collaboration by giving to a charity in need that is important to the CFJ Tiger staff. Thank you, Joshua Gregory and Rebecca Tiberi, for coordinating this fun, friendly, and generous competition each year!
