JFS French teacher Bryan Tran’s classes each have their own Eiffel Tower. At the end of each class, students can ask for a star to add to their tower. Une étoile, s'il vous plait. = A star, please.) Stars are earned when students follow their class’s collaborative classroom rules. These include being positive, kind to each other, helpful, respectful, and hard workers to name a few. By the end of the marking period, the class that gets the most stars on their Eiffel Tower earns a French party. For Marking Period 1, students earned a Crêpe party. Students decorated their own crêpes and practicing French, they learned how to order them.
