As part of its commitment to supporting our community, the UEHS Diversity Club continues to collaborate with organizations to offer assistance and donations. As the school year got underway, U-E parent Linda Clark suggested putting together ingredients to make a cake.
The Diversity Club’s Cake Drive was born! The idea was to help families celebrate special occasions. The club asked for boxed cake mix, frosting, vegetable oil, cake pans with lids, and holiday/birthday-themed plates and napkins. After a few short weeks, the students gathered in the Diversity Café and assembled 35 cake-making packages. The packages, along with several individual ingredients will be given to the U-E Family Support Center. Thank you to all who donated ingredients and to our students for working to provide something special for our U-E families.
