U-E is pleased to once again, invite our newest Tiger cubs to the U-E family with its annual Kindergarten Jump Start program. Approximately 170 students are attending this three-day program that began on August 29.
The program is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of starting school. Over the three days, students ride the bus, eat breakfast at school, work at classroom stations, experience school routines, and participate in art, PE, music, and library experiences. The program helps alleviate some of the normal fears of starting school and gives the students the chance to meet their teachers, building leaders, and make new friends. The district is looking forward to a successful school year with our kindergartners!
