(NEW) Tiger Park Pavers – We will be doing a final installation of pavers in 2024 during the month of October. If you are interested in a paver, please send the paperwork to the district office by the end of August. Otherwise, the next set of pavers won’t be installed until spring of 2025. The forms can be found here, or you can call 607-757-2811:  Tiger_Legacy_Project_Form_-_Revised_2-2024.pdf (core-docs.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com)

Summer P-EBT Program – The district has received updated guidelines for the New York State Summer Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) Program for this summer. All students who were directly certified (receiving SNAP benefits) by NYS during the 2023-2024 school year will automatically receive summer P-EBT benefits. If your child was not directly certified this school year, you will need to apply online starting July 1: www.otda.ny.gov/programs/summer-ebt/   For additional assistance, contact P-EBT Customer Service at 1-833-452-0096 or visit the NYS P-EBT website.

We will continue to add classes, and we will keep you informed as additional programs become available. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to the high school athletic office at 607-757-2191.

Summer Drivers Education – We will be offering Drivers Education once again this summer. If your child is interested, please contact their school counselor for information and registration. Spots are limited over the summer!

UPK Registration – The UPK registration is open.  Please call 757-2114 to register your child for one of our sites: Endicott Preschool, Greater Opportunities for Broome (at LWW or Rt. 26) and HCA (at LWW).

School Calendar – The 2024-2025 U-E School Calendar can be found on the website here: https://www.uek12.org/documents/district/calendars/478316

 Did you know…

  • The annual school calendar is built using the BT-BOCES calendar as a template, so all component districts in the region have the same vacation days.

  • Some districts in other areas of the state have different vacation schedules due to their BOCES using a different template.

  • Next year, we have 6 snow days built into the calendar.

UEHS Crosswalk – The NYS DOT will be upgrading the crosswalk in front of the high school to resemble the flashing lights in Vestal by the public library.  We do not have a specific date for when this work will happen, but we wanted families to be aware of the change.

Summer Jump Start/Prep Academy/Orientation –

The summer Jump Start for incoming kindergarten students will be on Tuesday, August 27-Thursday, August 29.

The Prep Academy for incoming sixth graders will be on Tuesday, August 27-Thursday, August 29.

The LWW Prep Academy for new Tiger Ventures students will be on Tuesday, August 27.

The high school freshmen orientation for incoming 9th graders will be on Tuesday, August 27.

(NEW) School Supplies – The district will be purchasing ALL necessary school supplies for students in grades K-12 for the upcoming school year.  The only thing students need to bring is a backpack. If you are in need of a backpack, please let me know at nwolfe@uek12.org.

First Day of School – A reminder, the first day of school for all U-E and BOCES students will be on Thursday, September 5.
