The month of December often brings to mind the holidays—a season of joy, giving, and togetherness. At GFJ, students and staff took this opportunity to focus on kindness, the character trait of the month.
Kindness is more than just a word; it’s an action that can brighten someone’s day. Throughout the month, students explored what it means to be kind and identified simple yet powerful ways to practice kindness daily. From something as small as sharing a smile or saying hello, to lending a hand when someone needs help, these acts can make a big difference.
Before the winter break, GFJ celebrated students and staff who embodied kindness in their daily interactions. These individuals were recognized as VITs—Very Important Tigers!
In this new year, the lessons of December will continue to inspire acts of kindness every day. After all, kindness is a gift we can all afford to give—and its impact is priceless.
