Innovations Grant Program

Each school year, the Union Endicott Education Foundation awards grants through its Innovations Grants Program. Innovations Grants are designed to fund creative and innovative projects that will enhance the learning experience for our students but which would not be included in the normal school district budget. Grants can be developed by UE professional staff in any combination of the following: teachers, administrators, other staff, and/or community collaborators. Community collaboration could include but is not limited to community business partners, service groups, or individual community members.

Innovations Grants are available to UE professional staff members in amounts up to $1500. Projects can range from enrichment to extra support for students in need. Funding can be used but is not limited to purchasing equipment and materials, providing transportation, and author/scientist/artist visits. Projects should be aligned with the Union-Endicott School District mission statement and commencement goals and need the approval of the appropriate building administrator.

Renewals

In keeping with our focus on innovation, UEEF will consider funding a renewal for one year only. Renewals will be funded at a maximum of fifty percent of the original award. Renewals MUST include a summary of the original grant's report. Successful previously funded projects that change significantly in scope and/or target audience will be considered as new projects.

Deadlines

Grant proposals must be emailed to Suzanne Stephenson at sstephenson5538@gmail.com by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024. Projects must be completed by June 30, 2025. Recommended grants will then be presented to the UEEF Board of Trustees and the Board of Education for final approval. Applicants will be notified when this process is complete.
