Health Insurance

Union-Endicott offers its employees a choice of 2 Health Insurance plans through our carrier, Excellus Blue Cross & Blue Shield.  For both the Family and Individual policies, the Union-Endicott Central School Distract pays a percentage of health insurance based on the bargaining member's contract.   Note: Your deduction will be different as deductions are taken over a 10-month period from September through June.

If you decline health insurance benefits when you are hired, you must wait for the next Open Enrollment in order to gain coverage (unless you experience a qualifying event).  There are 2 Open Enrollment periods in each year - in December and June.

The Summary of Benefits & Coverage (SBC) for each plan is provided below.  Printed copies of the SBCs are available upon request.

Dental Insurance

The District's dental plan is administered through Delta Dental.  Union-Endicott pays 100% of the cost of dental insurance for both family and individual coverage.  There is an ID card associated with this dental coverage.

Flexible Spending

Union-Endicott offers full and part time employees the opportunity to establish a Flexible Spending Account. The district's plan is designed to qualify as a cafeteria plan as established by section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code.  The flexible spending plan year runs from October 1st to September 30th each year - with Open Enrollment in September (for the plan year starting October 1st). SIEBA, LTD is the third-party administrator of the Union-Endicott Central School District Flexible Benefit Plan.

OMNI 403(B) Tax Sheltered Annuity

All Union-Endicott employees, whether full or part time have the option to participate in a salary reduction Tax Sheltered Annuity, commonly known as a 403b account.  The district uses the services and forms provided by Omni Financial Group. 403(b) contributions must be made to a Union-Endicott - Participating Service Provider. To find a list of approved providers with plan and contact information visit www.Omni403b.com. On website hover over Employees in top left corner of homepage.  When dropdown menu appears, click on Your Plan Page, then enter your state and school district in the Select your Organization boxes.

Employee Assistance Guide

Union-Endicott offers this benefit to all permanent employees at no cost. The program is provided through Bree Health, and offers both confidential emergency and short-term counseling services, as well as a wide variety of work/life balance assistance.
