JFS students in Amanda Atkinson’s classes combined detective work and history as they turned into crime scene investigators (CSI.)
As CSI, students were assigned the task of figuring out what happened during the incident that came to be known as the “Boston Massacre.” Using the evidence provided, students had to answer the questions based on each piece of evidence. After viewing all pieces of evidence, they summarized conclusions and provided information to support their case. This activity was a culmination of the unit, “Road to the American Revolution.”
