Math review just got a whole lot more exciting for our second graders! Recently, they embarked 
on a thrilling Math Survivor adventure, where their knowledge of addition, subtraction, and place value was put to the test through fun, interactive challenges.
Students traveled to different "survivor zones" (classrooms), each hosting a unique math challenge. In one room, students had to use their addition skills to outsmart the "lava" creeping across the floor. Quick thinking and teamwork kept their feet safe and their math sharp! Another challenge had students mastering place values to deactivate tricky "laser beams." Subtraction skills were tested as students completed a "food challenge" to help their team stay in the game.
By the end of the day, everyone was a Math Survivor! The students had a blast while reinforcing the essential skills they’ve learned this year. Math has never been this adventurous!
