The JFS Annual Author Fair provided students the opportunity to research and explore the lives and works of their favorite authors. Under the guidance of their teacher, Debbie Blodgett-Lachmanski, the students selected an author of their choice and delved into their background and literary contributions.
To showcase their research, the students created display boards that featured information about the author and highlighted details about their writings. Additionally, they took their exploration a step further by creating picture book biographies of their selected authors.
At the event, students participated in discussions and answered questions about their chosen author.
The project encouraged students to deepen their understanding of their favorite authors and taught them valuable research and presentation skills.
