UEHS Envirothon teams swept the county competition placing first, second, and third. In addition, the team Awesome Possums placed first in the five-county regional competition, advancing to the state competition at SUNY Cortland on May 22-23.

The Envirothon competition involves teams of up to five students, and they work together to answer questions on tests for five different events. The events are forestry, aquatics, wildlife, soils, and a current issue that changes each year.

This is the second year Awesome Possums qualified for states. With their experience from last year and their dedication, they're sure to make a strong showing. Good luck to them at the state competition!
