At Binghamton University Women’s Basketball "Beyond the Classroom Youth Day," U-E students and staff traveled to the BU Events Center for a game-day experience featuring interactive elements, music, and women’s college basketball.
The event provided an educational experience for students to visit a college campus. Preceding the field trip, BU women’s basketball players visited our schools to meet students and answer questions about being a college student-athlete.
Notably, the first-ever "Beyond the Classroom Youth Day!" game, where the women's basketball team faced Bryant University on January 11, attracted a record attendance of 3,429 people, setting a record for women's basketball game attendance.
