The Binghamton University Women's Basketball Team recently engaged with students from four elementary schools and JFS middle school. During these visits, the players shared their college experiences, answered a variety of questions from students, and even had the official BU mascot, Baxter the Bearcat, make an appearance. These interactions provided U-E students with the opportunity to connect with the players before attending the upcoming game against Bryant University.
Scheduled for January 11, the game is part of the program's inaugural "Beyond the Classroom Youth Day," specifically designed for grades K-8 and educational leaders in the Binghamton area. Attendees can look forward to a kid-friendly game-day experience with interactive elements, music, and the presence of Baxter. Additionally, all participants will enjoy free admission, enhancing the overall engagement for this educational and entertaining event.
