The district is excited to introduce a future Tiger to our family. Luna, owned by TJW first-grade teacher Britini Merrill, is currently working towards her certification to become a therapy dog.
Luna is an eight-week-old Labrador Retriever. For the first year, Luna and Ms. Merrill will work on socialization and attend training classes. After her first year, she will be qualified to become therapy certified. The goal is to have Luna attend the 2024-25 school year.
We can’t wait to meet her!
