Students in Mrs. Buchman and Mrs. Lemon-Hoyt's kindergarten classes at CFJ took part in Global School Play Day, a special event dedicated to unstructured, screen-free play.
The goal of the day is to allow children the freedom to explore, create, and engage in social interactions without adult direction or structured activities. Students enjoyed building with blocks, playing board games, stacking cups, and using their imaginations in various creative ways.
Beyond just having fun, the day encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and communication—important skills for young learners. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to unwind, bond with classmates, and embrace the joy of play!
