BOE Recognition

At the April Board of Education meeting, elementary educators were honored in a special recognition ceremony for their outstanding commitment to the RISE (Reading Interventions for Students Equity) grant. These educators have gone above and beyond to meet the grant’s requirements and ensure its impact reaches every student.

The district’s K–5 Director of Curriculum, Erin Eckert, praised their efforts, saying, “Your dedication and hard work in fostering literacy and a love for reading in our students has made a lasting impact, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate and acknowledge your efforts.”

Thanks to their determination, students in each elementary building are thriving. The daily work these educators do to build strong, confident readers is driving real results—and it shows. Their impact is not just measurable in test scores, but in the enthusiasm and growth students show as lifelong learners.

This recognition is a well-earned moment to celebrate the people who are shaping the future—one reader at a time.
