The annual spring visits by the UEHS Tiger Leads (TL) to the elementary schools are a proactive initiative to teach fourth-grade students about anti-drug, anti-alcohol, and anti-bullying strategies. TL students use interactive presentations and games to engage students and make the learning experience enjoyable and memorable.

Using activities like the Drunk Goggles adds a hands-on element to the effects of substance abuse in a safe and controlled environment. Creating these opportunities for students to learn about making smart choices and developing resistance skills is essential for promoting a healthy and positive school environment.

Both the Tiger Leaders and the fourth-grade students enjoyed these visits, as they not only provided valuable education but also fostered positive relationships within the school community.
